Master Profile：Li Kuchan (January 11, 1899 - June 11, 1983), formerly known as Yingjie, changed his name to Ying, courtesy name Ligong, a native of Gaotang, Shandong, a modern calligrapher, painter and art educator, good at painting flowers and birds, freehand brushwork, broad brushwork , hearty, and the painting style is known for its simplicity, majesty and boldness. The birds and birds they make are rich in ink and handsome, with both bones and strength. He can be called the master of contemporary Chinese painting. He met the painter Xu Beihong in 1918 and was taught Western painting techniques. In 1923, he took Qi Baishi as his teacher and became the first disciple of Qi Baishi. He is good at painting flowers, birds and eagles, with a bold, majestic and vivid style.
