So, I met several elder chess players who were assigned to the first unit after graduating from college. They have all retired and enjoyed their old age. I was a two-time chess champion in this state-owned enterprise at that time, and I got along very well with the factory manager, the leaders of my department, and many middle-aged chess enthusiasts in the same unit. Now I see them reporting here on time at 1 o'clock every afternoon, playing chess, arguing... Seeing that they can have such a spiritual place, I am really happy for them. I know my daughter's coach because of martial arts, and I know the coach's father because of chess. It's a coincidence that I can't help but sigh! The world is big, but sometimes it is really small. This kind of experience has happened many times in Kunming.
Here, too, I was capricious for a few days. One day, in a light rain, from five o'clock in the afternoon, we squatted and stood for a while, and we fought countless rounds with a well-known chess master, a teacher of the Kungong chess team, until it was dark. Continue to turn on the light of the mobile phone, and fight until nine o'clock in the evening on an empty stomach... So, are you showing off your superior skills? No, the actual result: I lose more and win less! But arguing and having fun are the greatest joys of playing chess at our age. I didn't understand it when I was young, but now I understand!
 Here, there have been cases of fights between retired elderly people due to heated arguments about chess, and there have also been cases where the quarrel was too loud, affecting the rest of the residents. , an extreme case of blowing the tabletop; there is another uncle, who was too excited because of the chess argument, he was admitted to the hospital the next day, and he never returned to this place (never came back after recovery)... Even so, the chess features and existence of this place have never been changed by external forces! Perhaps, this is a "unique" old-age lifestyle that chess lovers cannot give up. I understand, participate...but I know I can't be in this state yet!  Here, when there are a lot of people, I have experienced the pain of standing, squatting, moving, and moving due to the lack of seats and chess tools.
