However, the good times don't last long. After entering the ranks of the super masters, it is usually a competition between the super masters. There are many masters, and their abilities and levels are immediately exposed. After a few days, they are brushed down! For myself, this is a very profound case.
 

    In 2018, I picked up my hobby again. In order not to make my chess skills too embarrassing, I downloaded the "Chess Wizard" software and the "Chess Books" series to learn and improve. In addition, he re-logged into the "QQ New China Chess Platform", started his journey from the "Second Master" who had not used it for many years, and was ready to return to the "Grand Master". But in fact, the current mentality is very different from that in 2007: I just want to improve, and I have no desire to be competitive. As far as the level is concerned, in the game against the first-level masters and occasional grand masters in the new system, there are both winners and losers. But, one night, playing against a 47-year-old grandmaster completely broke me! No matter how I start and change, the opponent can handle it easily and move very fast. We play fast moves with a limit of 30 seconds per move, but most of the time, as soon as I make a move, he responds immediately, which is daunting and intimidating. Overwhelmed! 10 sets of struggles and confrontations, all sets lost! This kind of gap can only be responded and described as "I have to accept even if I don't accept it"! His brain can already be compared to a computer.

　　I am a computer major. From the Chinese chess software in the 1990s to the current chess wizard and other software, I have paid attention to, studied and used it. The current chess software has developed by leaps and bounds in terms of the completeness of the chess repertoire, the calculation and optimization speed of the game algorithm. Now, on a better home computer, using a popular chess software and choosing to play at the "master level", professional players are generally defeated! This time I played against the computer of the chess wizard (the computer player level is set to "professional level"), and I played nearly a hundred games in a few days. Except for a draw, I didn't have a chance to win! This is the terrible thing about computers replacing human brains in some fields!
